Terms of Service

To use Crestline Bank's services you must meet the following requirements:

• You must be an active player on the DemocracyCraft Minecraft server
• You must have a valid Discord account
• You must complete the account verification process as outlined on our website
• You must not have been permanently banned from Crestline Bank previously
• You must be in good standing within the DemocracyCraft community

Crestline Bank reserves the right to refuse service to any player at its sole discretion without providing a reason.

To open a Crestline Bank account you must provide the following information:

• Your Minecraft username
• Your Discord username

By registering an account you confirm that all information provided is accurate and up to date. Providing false or misleading information during registration is grounds for immediate account suspension or permanent ban.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. Crestline Bank cannot be held responsible for any loss resulting from unauthorised access to your account caused by your own actions or negligence.

Crestline Bank offers the following services to eligible account holders:

• Deposits — transfer in-game funds into your Crestline Bank account via /firm pay CrestlineBank [amount]
• Withdrawals — request funds be sent back to your in-game wallet
• Savings Interest — earn interest on your account balance at the applicable APY rate for your plan
• Loans — apply for personal or business loans subject to approval
• Player Transfers — send funds directly to another player's Crestline Bank account
• Employee Payments — business owners can pay employees directly through the Owner Portal

All services are subject to availability and Crestline Bank reserves the right to suspend or discontinue any service at any time with reasonable notice posted in our Discord announcements channel.

All deposits must be made via the in-game command /firm pay CrestlineBank [amount] and confirmed with a screenshot submitted through the website or Discord. Deposits will not be credited until confirmed by a Crestline Bank staff member.

Withdrawal requests are processed by our team and paid out in-game. Crestline Bank aims to process all withdrawal requests within 24 hours. Processing times may vary depending on staff availability.

Crestline Bank reserves the right to hold or delay any deposit or withdrawal that appears suspicious or that cannot be verified. You will be notified if your request is placed on hold.

Submitting a deposit confirmation with an incorrect amount or a falsified screenshot is considered fraud and will result in immediate account suspension and may be escalated to DemocracyCraft server administration.

Savings interest is calculated on your account balance and paid out on a regular schedule. Interest rates are determined by your account plan:

• Standard Account — 3% APY
• Vault Account — 7% APY

Interest rates are set by Crestline Bank and may be updated from time to time. Any changes to interest rates will be announced in our Discord announcements channel with reasonable notice. Continued use of your account following a rate change constitutes your acceptance of the new rate.

Loan applications are subject to review and approval by Crestline Bank staff. Approval is not guaranteed and Crestline Bank reserves the right to decline any application without providing a reason.

By accepting a loan you agree to the following:

• You will repay the full loan amount plus interest according to the agreed repayment schedule
• Repayments must be made via /firm pay CrestlineBank [amount] in-game on time each week
• Missing one payment will result in a warning and an overdue flag on your account
• Missing two consecutive payments will result in a penalty interest rate increase on your outstanding balance
• Missing three or more consecutive payments will result in your account being restricted
• Full default on a loan may result in your account being publicly listed as defaulted in the Crestline Bank Discord

Early repayment is permitted at any time. Interest will be recalculated based on the outstanding balance at the time of early repayment. Crestline Bank reserves the right to recall any loan in full if the borrower is found to have provided false information in their application.

Vault membership is a premium account plan available for a monthly or weekly fee. By subscribing to Vault you agree to the following:

• You are responsible for making your renewal payment on time each billing period
• If your renewal payment is not made on time Crestline Bank reserves the right to deduct the outstanding amount directly from your checking or savings account balance
• To avoid being charged you must cancel your Vault membership before your next renewal date
• Cancellations made after the renewal date has passed are not eligible for a refund
• If your account balance is insufficient to cover the renewal payment your account will be downgraded to a Standard account until the outstanding balance is resolved
• Vault membership benefits will be removed immediately upon downgrade

Crestline Bank reserves the right to change Vault pricing with reasonable notice posted in our Discord announcements channel.

The Owner Portal is available to approved business account holders. To apply for a business account you must open a ticket in the #owner-account-reg channel in the Crestline Bank Discord. Approval is subject to review by our team.

By using the Employee Payment system you agree to the following:

• You are responsible for ensuring sufficient funds in your account before making payments to employees
• All wage payments are final once sent and cannot be reversed
• You are responsible for any payment schedules you set up including daily, weekly, or monthly auto payments
• Employee payment data is recorded in the audit log and is visible to Crestline Bank staff

The Owner Portal is free for the first 20 days following activation. After the trial period ends access to the Owner Portal requires an active Vault membership. If your Vault membership lapses your Owner Portal access will be suspended until Vault is renewed.

The following conduct is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate account suspension or permanent ban:

• Submitting false or fraudulent deposit confirmations or screenshots
• Attempting to manipulate your account balance or transaction history
• Using Crestline Bank services to launder in-game funds obtained through scamming or other prohibited activity on DemocracyCraft
• Abusing the loan system by applying for loans with no intention of repaying
• Providing false information during account registration or loan applications
• Attempting to access another player's account without authorisation
• Harassing or threatening Crestline Bank staff members
• Attempting to exploit bugs or vulnerabilities in our website or platform

Crestline Bank reserves the right to report any prohibited conduct to DemocracyCraft server administration where appropriate.

Crestline Bank reserves the right to suspend or terminate any account at any time for any of the following reasons:

• Breach of these Terms of Service
• Fraudulent or suspicious activity
• Outstanding unpaid loan balance
• Behaviour that damages the reputation of Crestline Bank or the DemocracyCraft community
• Request by DemocracyCraft server administration

Upon termination of your account any outstanding loan balances remain due and payable. Crestline Bank will make reasonable efforts to return any deposited funds to you following account closure, minus any outstanding debts owed to the bank.

Crestline Bank is a player-run institution operating within a Minecraft server environment. While we make every effort to maintain accurate records and process transactions promptly, we cannot guarantee uninterrupted service at all times.

Crestline Bank shall not be held liable for any loss of funds resulting from:

• DemocracyCraft server outages, resets, or technical issues beyond our control
• Changes to DemocracyCraft server rules or economy that affect in-game currency values
• Your own actions including providing incorrect payment details or account information
• Unauthorised access to your account resulting from your own negligence

Crestline Bank may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Updated Terms will be posted in our Discord announcements channel and will take effect from the date of publication. Continued use of our services following the publication of updated Terms constitutes your acceptance of the changes.

We encourage you to review these Terms periodically so you remain aware of your rights and obligations as a Crestline Bank customer.

In the event of any dispute arising from these Terms or from the operation of your Crestline Bank account, both parties agree to first attempt to resolve the matter through direct negotiation. Please open a support ticket in the Crestline Bank Discord and give our team a reasonable opportunity to address your concern.

If a resolution cannot be reached through negotiation, the matter will default to Redmont's Court System as the governing forum for dispute resolution, in accordance with DemocracyCraft server law.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, void, or unenforceable under applicable law or DemocracyCraft server rules, that provision shall be severed from these Terms. All remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect and shall not be affected by the removal of the invalid provision.
